To author Posts and comment on Posts or Pages, you will need to sign up for a WordPress.com user ID. As part of the sign up, WordPress.com will want you to give them you email address. Then you will need to send Gene or Ross an email telling them what email address you used. They will use that email address to add you to the blog.

So go sign up at www.wordpress.com . Note that you can also set up your own blog and it’s FREE. If you do set up your blog, tell us if you’re doing something interesting and we’ll add the blog to the “blogroll” list. To email gene you can use “gjoseph”. His ISP is “gainbroadband.com”. Ross used “ross.zimmerman” with his “gmail.com” account (We’re being coy about the exact email address to make life harder for the spam harvesting robots.).
